Biography Project: Jimmy Savile (2012 April- May)

A biography project based on Sir Jimmy Savile. Jimmy Savile was a TV presenter and media personality popular during the 50s to 90s in Britain. What’s peculiar about him is that throughout his media career, he remained completely scandal-free. People have many speculations and suspicions about Jimmy Savile due to many unknown reasons. But in this project I try to capture the essence of Jimmy Savile’s mysterious life, including both allegations against and truth about him. The book was designed to be a card case with a search bar that says Jimmy Savile _____ where this is obviously a reference to the google search bar, implying the collective impression of the Society of Jimmy Savile. The book contains 8 cards with both sides which you can slot into the search bar to reveal the tag. For example: Jimmy Savile “tracksuit”.
